What's fresh this week?
Ranunculus are the queen of the farm these days!
We sell them as market bouquets, which is shown in the image at the right.
Or, you can get the same great blossoms on shorter stems for smaller arrangements and gifts.
How Does the Bouquet Program Work?
The most frequently asked questions get answers
Bouquet availability will be listed weekly online
On our online shopping portal, we will post available bouquets on Mondays with an eye on what flowers will be at the peak for havesting. Havesting at the correct time ensures the longest vase life. We will also list delivery days and times, as well as pickup days and times for that week.
What flowers will be available?
This entirely depends on what’s ready in the field. In the spring, that’s tulips, daffodils and narcissus. In June, that’s peonies, snapdragons and ranunculus. In July, the array gets wider: sunflowers, zinnias, strawflowers, celosia and several others. In July, the dahlias start to arrive!
What days and times will I be able to get flowers?
Each week, we will select days and times for both delivery and pickup. You must be available at your scheduled time, as we will not drop off flowers on a porch, etc. We also will not wait beyond 10 minutes for a pickup.
If you miss your delivery or pickup time, you will not get a refund.
Please call or email if you can’t make it. We will try to work it out, but with so many moving pieces, that may not be possible.
How do I care for my flowers?
Change the water frequently. Dirty water clogs up the stems, meaning your blooms can’t get moisture.
Trim the ends when you change the water, which also helps keep stems clear.
Keep arrangements out of direct sunlight.
Remove blooms that are past their prime, as they may give off fumes that hasten the demise of your other blooms.
Why can't you leave my flowers on my porch?
Fresh flowers need proper care. We want you to receive your flowers when they have optimal vase life, so you can enjoy them as long as possible. We can’t control the weather, and heat, cold, rain could impact the blooms.
How else can I get Blu Haus Flowers?
